To experience; to us that's what travelling is all about. Being

overwhelmed by fascinating cultures, tasting the most delicious dishes, being amazed by the beautiful flora and fauna our great earth is filled with and experience the warm hospitality of people we meet.

7 Years after our first overland trip through Africa and Asia we embarked on a new adventure. In April 2014 we left the Netherlands and drove to Thailand, crossing the Caucasus, Central Asia, Mongolia and China. End of 2014 we shipped our car to Cape Town for another 4 months in Southern Africa. Would you like to read stories about far away countries or are you looking for information; we hope this website may inspire you. 

To all those visitors who are considering a similar journey themselves we can only say: GO FOR IT! All sacrifices turn pale compared to the richness it brought us. We have enjoyed every second of being and experiencing it together and all the memories of unique people, crazy situations, stunning landscapes and impressive animals are priceless and will be a part of us for the rest of our lives.
